Students studying in the International Economics program will be able to:

  • analyze the external and internal environment of the enterprise;
  • develop strategies for the development of entrepreneurial activity
  • make economic calculations and justify innovation and investment projects;
  • form mechanisms and evaluate the effectiveness of international scientific and technical cooperation;
  • to solve accounting and analytical tasks related to international commercial transactions;
  • organize, control and coordinate the implementation of international contracts and projects;
  • take into account the peculiarities of the modern world and national economy in business;
  • justify the directions of economic and foreign economic policy of the state.

Graduates of the International Economics program have the opportunity to work as

  • specialists and heads of economic departments of enterprises of various organizational and legal forms;
  • experts and consultants on foreign economic issues;
  • advisors and representatives in international organizations, chambers of commerce, representative offices of international firms, multinational corporations, joint ventures, embassies, and government agencies.

Graduates of the Department of International Economics of NTUU “KPI” successfully realize themselves in various sectors of the economy of Ukraine and other countries (USA, Canada, Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia, etc.). Our specialists work in the foreign economic departments of Ukrainian companies, joint ventures, institutions and organizations in the foreign economic sphere, in the divisions of TNCs, management of enterprises and organizations, insurance companies, consulting organizations, banking institutions, structures of central state and regional governments, research and production complexes, financial and industrial groups, technology parks, research institutes and centers that conduct research on the state of the world commodity markets.

Many graduates head or are members of the management staff of large national and transnational corporations, work in teams implementing projects of international organizations in Ukraine, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, etc.
