On October 28, 2025, an online meeting was held with Daryna Lomantsova, Senior Manager of Tax Advisory at KPMG Ukraine. The event was conducted as part of the educational process for the course “Taxation,” taught by Yaroslava Hlushchenko, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economics.

The meeting was attended by students of the “International Economics” educational program and the Faculty of Management and Marketing. During the event, Ms. Daryna spoke about the specifics of tax advisory, its importance for business, and the nature of consultants’ work at KPMG. She shared real-life cases that demonstrated how tax advisory combines analytical thinking, strategy, and creativity, and what skills are necessary for building a career in this field.

Students noted that the meeting was dynamic, insightful, and motivating. It helped them better understand how theoretical knowledge from classes is applied in practice and demonstrated the significance of tax aspects for sustainable business development.
