A master’s degree is obtained in an educational and professional or educational and scientific program. Qualification characteristics of masters of the Department of International Economics. The Department of International Economics provides master’s degree programs in the following specialties: 051 “Economics” under the educational program “International Economics”. In addition, the department is involved in the certification program “Management in the field of the military-industrial complex, which is aimed at training management personnel who can think systematically and innovatively, make and implement effective management decisions, master modern management and marketing tools, and perform management functions in the field of the military-industrial complex at a high professional level. Duration of study: 1 year 4 months under the educational and professional program. Form of study: full-time, part-time. The master’s degree is obtained by the educational and professional program. The volume of the educational and professional master’s program is 90-120 ECTS credits. The master’s degree provides an opportunity for further postgraduate study. Students’ education at the department is carried out both at the expense of the budget and at the expense of individuals or legal entities.

Admission to study is carried out in accordance with: 1) Rules for admission to the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” in 2023 2) Regulations on admission to study for a master’s degree Program of the Master’s Test of Educational Competence (MTEC) “Program of the Comprehensive Professional Examination (CPE) 2023 (for persons who, in accordance with the Admission Procedure, have the right to take a professional exam instead of the EIE)” If you are applying for a master’s degree under a state order or at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities in the specialty 051 Economics, you must pass The Unified Entrance Examination (UEE), which in 2023 consists of two parts – a foreign language of the applicant’s choice (English, German, French or Spanish) and a test of general academic competence (TGAC) to test the required level of knowledge in critical, analytical and logical thinking. You also need to pass the Unified Professional Entrance Exam (UPEE) in your specialty. To take the EMI and the EFE, you need to register from May 08 to May 31 (until 18.00) and take it from June 23 to July 21. There is no need to take an additional entrance test this year. Motivation letter. In 2023, applicants who plan to pursue a master’s degree at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute must submit a motivation letter for admission to the university when submitting electronic applications.

MOTIVATIONAL LETTER – information about the applicant’s personal interest in entering Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for higher education and the corresponding expectations, achievements in education and other activities, own strengths and weaknesses. The total length of the motivation letter for applicants should not exceed 4000 characters. There is no need to take an additional entrance test to change the received specialty (if the bachelor’s degree was obtained in another specialty). Applications for admission are submitted exclusively electronically, except in special cases, on the website vstup.edbo.gov.ua The application states: – University – Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, located in Kyiv; – educational degree – master’s degree; – preferred form of education (full-time or part-time), – specialty: 051 Economics, educational program “International Economics”. To fulfill the requirements for admission, the applicant must submit a list of documents in person or by e-mail with a qualified electronic signature within the specified time frame and submit the original documents within 20 days from the date of commencement of studies. Persons recommended for admission who have not fulfilled the requirements for admission within the established time limit are not enrolled in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The tuition fee for the 2022/2023 academic year in the specialty 051 Economics on a contractual basis at the expense of individuals or legal entities is as follows:

for full-time students – 47,900 UAH/year; for part-time study – 31,900 UAH/year.

Admission requirements for foreign citizens

Acceptance of documents from foreign citizens and stateless persons for studying for a master’s degree is carried out in accordance with Section 12 of the Rules of Admission to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Admission of foreign citizens is carried out on a competitive basis and in the form of entrance testing. Entrance testing is conducted in two subjects: in the specialty and in English. A prerequisite for enrollment of a foreign citizen in the Master’s degree program is a bachelor’s degree and a command of the language of instruction at a level sufficient to master the educational material, which is confirmed by successful completion of the entrance test. It is possible to admit foreign citizens to the master’s program on the basis of a bachelor’s degree obtained in another specialty, subject to successful completion of additional entrance testing. Students who have received a bachelor’s degree outside of Ukraine, when applying for a master’s degree, submit documents that have been nostrified by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Admission is carried out in accordance with the Rules of Admission to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 2023.
